Hennie slept wonderfully, the best bed we had in 3 weeks. The room is large, separate kitchen and large bedroom. Living room plus balcony with morning sun.Beach around the corner!You can reach the center of the district within 20 minutes walking along the beach, which is wonderful if you have eaten and can take a short walk before going 'home' again.
Very convenient location, a few minutes from the beach. Quiet at night, slept very well. Veronica made us feel welcomed and at home. Our stay was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Would stay here again.
My third stay here. A good *** Motel. My room was very clean and comfortable, with a handy kitchen and lounge room. The manager was very helpful, showing me how to use the laundry. Close to cafes, restaurants and the beach. A great alternative to a city centre stay.

My wife and I had a lovely long stay with our kids for the holidays. Veronica was very accommodating and made us feel super comfortable. The location is superb (100m to the beach and bus stop, many options for food nearby, super quiet at night) and the rooms are spacious. The building is a little bit old, but the cleanliness is on point and the service is very very good. Thoroughly recommend Aarangi motel. Our kids loved being there too.

IT'S ON MY PARTNER TO DO LIST EVERY MONTH NOW UNTIL I GIVE BIRTH.With Our a last minute plan my partner decided to treat me to a morning swim well I'm in my early pregnancy trimester where everything seems to trigger but the water calms me. He found this lovely motel, it was a few minutes away from the beach. We planned to stay just one night just so I can go for a swim in the morning with the high tide and the lovely host who welcomed Us and took Us to our room she extended our time of leaving in the morning, which I appreciated very much I didn't have to rush and stress out. Extremely clean rooms and comfortable beds were outstanding. The location to the beaches was my favorite, cafes and shops is incredibly convenient. With No hesitate I would recommend this Lovely and Friendly motel.THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Our experience at Aarangi motel has been outstanding. From the minute we have booked our room online the managers Veronica and Ajay have been incredibly helpful. When we arrived we have been warmly welcomed by Veronica who showed us to our room which was lovely and sparkling clean. The location is amazing only one block from the bay and local shops and eateries. This is a well priced motel and you will get more than what you have paid for in a top location. Thanks, we will be back on our next Auckland trip.
Great location just back from the beach. Slightly older complex, but plenty of character and our room was nicely refurbished inside. Very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Very friendly and helpful host on check-in and check-out. We wish we had been able to stay longer.
